Dawson is one of the better kickers to be associated with a famous (or infamous) doink. At the close of the 4th quarter, Dawson lined up a 51 yard attempt that was initially ruled no good on the field. After discussion on the field, the call was reversed and points awarded to the Browns, sending the 30-30 game to overtime. On the first drive of extra time, Dawson cleanly chipped in a 33 yarder to seal the win over a division rival, capping a day that saw him contribute 15 of his team's 33 points.
