The truth is that this was never going to be a competitive game - 2 of Cincy's top 3 receivers were backup running backs (Bernard and Burkhead) - to say nothing of the 27-0 regular season blanking of the Bengals by the Colts. Maybe the doink here is best seen as TILT on a pinball machine - the game is over whether or not the ball makes it through.
